Meralco Brownout Schedule (November 9-15)

Whew! Hell of a week. After a brutal beating from Typhoon Santi in which I had to forgo vacation privileges, I had to render three straight days of 6-hour overtime duty.

Toxic? I know.

I even lost my sense of humor (that's what I call my cuss-filled Tagalog posts nowadays) somewhere along the way... Anyhow, I won't forget my self-imposed blogging duty. Here's your weekly dose of brownout pre-information (there is such a word 'cause I dare say so). Enjoy!

The Sisters of Christian Charity

The Sisters of Christian Charity are a community of women, dedicated to the care and education of the needy, especially the blind. Following the example of Blessed Pauline von Mallinckrodt, the Sisters want to be truly women of Christ-like Love. Empowered by their Eucharistic life-style, which impels them to be Christ’s light in the "Church of the Poor", they want to uplift and guide the blind and all who need them in our wounded world. Excerpt from http://www.sccphil.com/aboutus.htm
Gugol supports SCC Philippines and hopes to provide assistance to this fine charity institution someday. Meanwhile, I encourage you to visit their website and lend them a helping hand.
