Scotomaphobia

Ang scotomaphobia ay ang pagkatakot sa pagiging bulag.

Ako ay mildly scotomaphobic. Mawala na sa akin ang lahat, maging lantang gulay na ako, huwag lang akong mabulag.

Sige nga ikaw, magblindfold ka ng isang buong araw at gawin mo ang mga pang-araw-araw na routine mo. Hindi ka kaya mabaliw n'un? Ako oo. Ang hirap kaya pairalin ng imahinasyon. Sakit sa ulo, sinasabi ko sa iyo. Kaya nga araw-araw ako sinisipon. (Go figure.)

Sa kadahilanang ito, lubos ang aking paghanga sa mga bulag. Nabibilang sila sa mga pinakamatatapang at pinakamatatag na tao sa balat ng lupa.

At balang araw, tutulong ako sa kanila. Sa ngayon, inaanyayahan ko ang sino mang makakabasa nito na may sobrang pera o oras na tulungan ang Sisters of Christian Charity.

Pinamamahalaan ng SCC ang isang Home for the Blind dito sa Pilipinas.

Tutulungan ko sila pagdating ng panahon. Sana kayo rin.
